Red Arrow train
The Red Arrow is the first named train of Russian Railways that runs from Moscow to St. Petersburg and back since the 1930s. It started its first regular service in 1931 and had only been interrupted between 1941 and 1943 during the Siege of Leningrad .This is also the only train that has retained its design for many years, it's painted in deep red color and easily recognizable. Till this day the Red Aarrow carries passengers from Moscow to the Northern capital of Russia!
The model itself is a very detailed copy of the original train and looks extremely realistic. The most interesting elements of construction such as an internal interior, a tambour, a water closet, a wheel base are carefully specified. The model even has plastic transparent windows!
The Red Arrow model has HO scale and is compatible with the other UMBUM's rolling stocks and buildings in HO scale. As HO is the most popular scale of model railway in the world, we can tell that this model would be compatible with the other wagons and buildings as well.
The Red Arrow is made of durable cardboard of 0.5 millimeters thick; it has double-sided full-color printing and embossing (note that embossing is a unique technology for cardboard models!). The model could be easily assembled without glue or scissors. It is provided with colorful language independent step-by-step instructions.
