One copper coin (for Istanbul)
There is nothing to do in Istanbul without money… Especially if you’re planning on visit famous Oriental markets! Even though sometimes it is possible to haggle over the prices with the marketers, it still might be hard to negotiate if you don’t have enough money.
The money in Istanbul board game designed exactly as its historical prototype – silver coins that were used in Turkey in the late 19th and early 20th century. In the base game set the coins are made of thick cardboard but it is still not very durable. That’s why we’ve decided to make these unique plastic tokens!
It is necessary to tell more about the design of the plastic tokens because we’ve made them look more like the real coins. One copper coin is designed like a 10 para coin (1/40 of a kurus) minted by the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire Abdul Hamid II in 1901. These coins will, surely, look great on the game table!
You’ll need 30 one copper coins to replace the stock cardboard money in Istanbul board game.
