Free imperial city set
This huge city can be the capital of the Empire or it can be a free city under the control of the heads of major guilds. It has many richly decorated houses, a school, a church, a tavern and lots of other very useful buildings. As in any medieval city, there are stables and a bakery to which the flour is being supplied from two mills - a windmill and a watermill (probably their owners are friends, but often argue over whose flour is better). We recommend this set if you want to create big dioramas or planning to arrange a bloody close combat in a crowded urban landscape.
This kind of buildings dates from the 14th century or later and perfectly fits medieval, Modern Age (XVII-XIX) and World War I/II landscapes. It’s compatible with 28 or 25 mm miniatures of 1/56 and 1/48 scale. Please note that Observation tower (201), Bakery (243-01), Bridge (258) and Chapel (218) are compatible also with 15 mm miniatures of 1/72 scale.
You can place miniatures inside the buildings because, mostly, the roof or a part of the wall can be opened!
The set is made of durable cardboard of 1.5 millimeters thick; it has double-sided full-color printing and embossing. So you have no need to paint this terrain because it has nice and realistic exterior pictures and detailed interiors. Please note that almost every building has the stairs and doors but they are too small for miniatures (but the doors can still be opened).
Note that through the material of the models (cardboard) you can modify them or turn them to a ruined or a burned out buildings.
The models could be easily assembled without glue or scissors. They are provided with language independent step-by-step instructions.
Together with this set you also receive 110 flat cardboard miniatures (25 mm): different knights, villagers and even some animals such as donkeys and horses!
