Two-axle flat wagons of this type were produced in Germany in the 1910-1930s by the company called Bergs. These wagons were used for transportation of various cargoes or vehicles. It also could have been used for derailing protection as a part of an armored train.
The model itself is a very detailed copy of the original wagon and looks extremely realistic. The most interesting elements of construction are carefully specified.
The Flat wagon model has HO scale and is compatible with the other UMBUM's rolling stocks and buildings in HO scale. As HO is the most popular scale of model railway in the world, we can tell that this model would be compatible with the other wagons and buildings as well.
The model is made of durable cardboard of 0.5 millimeters thick; it has double-sided full-color printing and embossing (note that embossing is a unique technology for cardboard models!). The model could be easily assembled without glue or scissors. It is provided with colorful language independent step-by-step instructions.
