But in I century BC, after many battles, the land of the Celts was captured by the Roman legions under the command of Julius Caesar. Augustus, and then Claudius finally defeated the Celts. The conquered tribes became a part of the Empire.
The set includes: the chieftain of the Celts, a warrior with a standard, a warrior with a carnyx, a celtic warrior, a warrior with a severed head of an enemy.
